Chapter 1: A Sleepy Moon
High above the clouds, the Moon yawned.
He was tired.
He had been shining every night for years.
“I wish I could rest,” he whispered.
“But what if the night gets too dark?”
Chapter 2: A Tiny Wish
That night, the Moon made a wish.
“I wish I could take one night off.”
A shooting star flew by.
“Wish granted,” it said with a twinkle.
Chapter 3: The Sky Goes Dark
The next night, the Moon didn’t shine.
The sky was dark and quiet.
The stars blinked in worry.
“Where’s the Moon?” they asked.
Chapter 4: The Animals Wake Up
On Earth, the animals were confused.
The owls flew into trees.
The wolves howled sadly.
“Where is our moonlight?” they cried.
Chapter 5: A Firefly with an Idea
A little firefly named Fizz heard the wolves.
“I’ll find the Moon,” said Fizz.
He zipped into the sky.
Buzz-buzz! Up he went.
Chapter 6: Fizz Finds the Moon
Fizz found the Moon hiding behind a cloud.
“Why are you hiding?” Fizz asked.
“I just wanted one night off,” said the Moon sadly.
“But now everyone is lost without you.”
Chapter 7: A Shiny Plan
Fizz smiled.
“I have an idea!”
He flew to the stars.
“Let’s help the Moon tonight!”
The stars twinkled in agreement.
Chapter 8: Lights in the Sky
The stars lined up in a circle.
Fizz and the fireflies flew around them.
Together, they made a gentle glow.
Not as bright as the Moon…
But still lovely.
Chapter 9: The Moon Returns
The Moon peeked out from the clouds.
He saw the animal's calm.
He saw the stars helping.
“I feel better now,” he said.
And he began to shine again soft and kind.
Chapter 10: One Night a Month
From that night on, the Moon took a rest once a month.
The stars and fireflies helped on those nights.
And the world stayed bright…
Even when the Moon took a nap.
