Tesla sales collapse in Europe

Tesla cars were sold remarkably less across Europe in recent months. This is remarkable since the electric car market remained stable or even grew significantly.

In Belgium, for example, 45% fewer Tesla cars were sold in January 2025 compared to January 2024.

In the rest of Europe, the figures are even worse if possible. In the Netherlands, the number of Tesla's sold last month even dropped to 900, reaching its lowest level in a year and a half. So writes the Dutch Algemeen Dagblad. In January, Tesla sold 59 percent fewer cars in Germany. France also saw a significant drop of 63 percent in January, while about the same number of electric cars were sold there as well.
